Science Fair Day. Please review the notes sent to you from Ms. Hanks regarding how and when to take the projects to the cafeteria and how classes will view the projects.

BUG Awards for grades 3-5- Mr. Sealey will provide you with information regarding the program.
Crazy Sock Day for PBIS
8:30- Mrs. Choplin, Mrs. Maine & Mrs. Aldret will be in Greensboro accepting a Green Ribbon Award for our PBIS program. WAY TO GO OLD TOWN!
Substitute plans should be updated and given to Mr. Wall.

Upcoming Events/Reminders:
Plans for EOQ Remediation: All classroom teachers should be reviewing EOQ data and DIBELS (when completed) and should develop a grade level plan for remediation. Everyone should work together in the grade level to develop the plans for reteaching. Grades 3-5 should have a plan in place by no later than January 31st. K-2 at date will be determined as soon as DIBEL results are published.

The plans should be written/typed. It should include something "different" from the first round of teaching. This can be working with another teacher, locating new hands on materials to use, asking the coaches for assistance, etc.

Everyone has strengths and ares of needs. Use each others strengths to work with the students.



Afternoon Gym Duty:
All teachers: please remind your students each day as they enter the gym that the voice level is zero.

Teachers on duty: Please remember to circulate throughout the gym and to give Eagle Bucks to students who are following procedures.



Any Teacher: The more the merrier in the afternoon. If you have a few extra minutes on days that the gym is extremely full your assistance by staying and assisting with monitoring would be greatly appreciated.





January 30: 2:45 SIT meeting. Mr. Oates will most likely be joining us again. Please be prepared to discuss data and how it applies to the school improvement plan. All members should be present. If you are going to be absent please notify your entire grade level/area and locate a substitute.
