SNOW, SNOW, SNOW What to do on a SNOW Day!
WHAT TO DO IF SCHOOL IS DELAYED TWO HOURS!
With winter quickly approaching we could experience some winter weather. Safety is always our first concern here at Old Town. Listed below are your options on a day that school is delayed two hours.
1) Report to work at your regularly scheduled time.
2) Report to work on a two hour schedule. This means if you normally arrive at work at 7:15 you would report to work at 9:15 or if you arrive at 7:25 you would arrive at 9:25.
3) Report to work at a time you feel is reasonable and that you feel safe driving.
4) All time must be made up within 5 working days- if possible make the time up the same day.
5) Contact an administrator or the lead secretary if you are not going to arrive at work on time.
**** Remember to put SAFETY first.
WHAT TO DO WHEN SCHOOL IS CLOSED
There will be announcements on the local TV and radio stations regarding school closing. The CO staff will make an attempt to make a decision before the 10pm news airs. If that is not possible they will try to have the decision by 5:30 in the morning.
SCHOOL CLOSED: This means school is closed for both teachers and students.
OPTIONAL TEACHER WORKDAY: This means you will have to decide if you are coming in to work. You will contact an administrator and the lead secretary if you not working. Please email these decisions to us.

HOLIDAY SHUT DOWN!
The building will be closed during the holidays. Please remember to do the following before you leave for winter break:
1) Take down any holiday decorations.
2) Take down anything in the hallways that could fall and make the alarm sound.
3) All pets should be taken home.
4) Trash should be placed at doors so the housekeeping team can empty on Tuesday.
5) Do not leave any food open. Make sure any snacks for children are in air tight containers.
6) Turn all computers and printers off.
7) Close the blinds.
8) HAVE A WONDERFUL BREAK!

Mid-Year PDP review time is quickly approaching. Please begin looking at your professional development plans and determine if you are completing the activities necessary to meet your goals. We will be sending more information in the near future regarding the timeline and procedure of completing the mid-year review process.

Teachers web pages should be updated regularly. It had been our intention to update them during LTM's this year. As you are aware we have had to change our plans to accommodate Common Core staff development. Please update your web pages as quickly as you can.
