Week April 23rd -April 27th

KUDOS TO: Mrs. McKinney, the 2nd Grade Teaching Team & the specialists for their hard work and dedication to their students. The PTA presentation was FANTASTIC! We believe it is the largest crowd we have had in years. Everyone that assisted with the kindergarten screening on Wednesday, April 18th. It was very well organized and we believe all the parents felt welcomed. Mr. Sealey, the specialists, classroom teachers in grades 3-5 and everyone else that participated in the BUG Soccer Day. The students had a blast! Congratulations to Jennifer Spillman, Lisa Greenwood and their mentors. These ladies have almost completed thier first year in the education field. These accomplishments were recognized at the End-of-Year STAY Celebration on Monday, April 16th. Award's Day was a huge success. Thanks to Mrs. Duggins and Mrs. Savid for preparing all the awards. They were fantastic!

MONDAY, APRIL 23-4A
ITBS TESTING BEGINS TODAY for GRADES K-2.  PRT's are involved with testing so their schedule are tight and will vary day to day.
UNCF KICKOFF TODAY--- Mr. Wall is our contact.  If you feel lead please donate to this most important cause.
1:00- Mrs. Choplin meeting off campus
2:45- SIT Meeting in Mrs. Mercer's classroom.  If the grade level representataive cannot attend please send a substitute.

TUESDAY, APRIL 24-5A
ITBS TESTING CONTINUES TODAY!
2:45- Choplin, Blackburn, Lea & Jordan have a brief meeting in the office.
3:30- Mrs. Choplin has meeting at the Education Building.

ITBS TESTING CONTINUES!
Mid-term/progress reports go home today.
9:30- Mr. Wall has an AP meeting off campus.
1:00-  Mrs. Choplin/Ms. Barber have a Title One meeting off campus

THURSDAY, APRIL 26-1A
ITBS TESTING CONTINUES!

FRIDAY, APRIL 27- 2A
ITBS make-up  testing will take place today.
Last day to complete the NC Teacher Working Condition Survey.  If you have not completed the survey please see Mary Davis for directions.
12:00- AR luncheon for students in grades 3-5.  These are the students that have met their lunch on campus goal.  Ms. Barber/Mrs. Clark will send out additional information.

REMINDERS:
  • April 30- Newsletters and Parent Contacts are due to Mrs. Choplin.
  • May 2- Old Town Volunteer Luncheon will be held in the media center.
  • May 3- Transfer fair will be held at North Forsyth High School at 4:00pm
  • May 7- Staff meeting at 2:45.
  • Teachers in grades 3-5 should use calculators for all mathematic activities.
  • All personne should be in their classrooms or at their duty posts at 7:25.  If you are going to be late please contact the office.
  • Please read emails daily.
