SPECIAL THANKS TO:

  • Mrs. Duggins and Mrs. Savid for all their hard work in preparing the awards for Awards Day. We apprecite you!

  • Everyone that has remained in the gym at dismissal time to assist with the students. We appreciate you!

  • Everyone that participated in the science fair! The displays were wonderful and the students appeared to enjoy the process.

  • The housekeeping team for making sure our school is inviting. Mrs. Choplin's mother-in-law visited the school for the first time last and week and stated it was one of the cleanest schools she had ever visited. Take time to say thank-you our housekeeping team and remind the students to thank the team as well.

UPCOMING FUNDRAISING EVENTS FOR THE BACKPACK PROGRAM

  • Friday, March 23- Bridges Church will host a hike from Hanging Rock to Pilot Mt. This is a 25 mile hike. Each hiker is responsible for finding sponsors for the event. All proceeds will go to the Old Town Backpack Program. Our very own MR. MANISCALCO has agreed to represent Old Town School that day. He will be in need of sponsors so lets back Mr. M. To find out more about this event on facebook go to ...backpack4backpack. Please share this event with your friends and neighbors. The more coverage we can get the more we can raise for this very important project.

  • Bridges Church will be hosting a community yard sale on March 10th here at Old Town. The event will be in the gym from 8:00 am -11:30. All proceeds will go to the backpack program. Everyone is encouraged to go through their junk drawers and clothes and bring items to the sale. We are expected to tag the items prior to bringing them to school. Those donating items can return to school at 11:30 to retrieve their goods or they will be donated to Goodwill. Please share this with your neighbors and friends. More information will follow in the upcoming weeks.

THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO AND HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK!
