"I found the same thing to be true of my EC kids when I taught older children (7-11), especially the ones who had been in school longer. I had to break the bond that they could not do and teach them they were smart and could do many things. It was so gratifiying to see them begin to believe in themselves as they became successful. Hope is an amazing thing. We all need it and life would not be bearable without it. "
